The Clinical Neuropsychologist's responsibilities include assessing, evaluating, diagnosing, and treating brain-based disorders, exploring different treatments and their effectiveness on improving brain functionality, and researching to advance our understanding of brain-based conditions that impact cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning. Conditions under the scope of this position include:
Brain tumor, including patients undergoing brain tumor surgery
Epilepsy, including patients undergoing Epilepsy surgery
Parkinson disease and movement disorders, including patients undergoing Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS)
Doctoral degree in clinical psychology with a neuropsychology concentration and fellowship training in neuropsychology
Licenses and Certifications:
Licensure (or license-eligible) for practice of Psychology in the State of NJ
Board Certification (or board-eligible) in Clinical Neuropsychology preferred
7+ years of practice in neuropsychology required
