We are hiring for the Med-Surg Intermediate Float Pool. Experienced RNs and New Graduates with ADN, Diploma, and BSN qualifications are welcome to apply. Open RN positions offer:

Full-time 12-hour dayshift
Benefits available starting the first month after your start date

Will float to all four entities as well as Smithville

The Opportunity:

Float pool may give you the independence and variation you are looking for (while also giving you an added pay differential)!

Saint Luke's North Hospital is seeking a Float Pool Nurse to join our team. You will have the opportunity to help improve hospital throughput and capacity while enhancing the patient experience by floating as needed based on staffing and patient care needs between departments that include surgical intermediate, medical telemetry, medical intermediate, physical rehabilitation, and behavioral health units. Shift Details: Full Time Days 6:45am-7:15pm, 3 shifts per week

The Work:

* Utilizes the nursing process

* Performs patient care, delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff

* Coordinates the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes

* Demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines and procedures

Applicable Experience:

Less than 1 year

Basic Life Support RQI - Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI), Mandt Certified - Various, Mandt - Healthstream - Healthstream, Registered Nurse (MO) Multi-State - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)
