The role you’ll contribute:
The Clinical Nurse Manager Coordinates the total Nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching, and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary departments and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.Oversees staffing, training, and is a liaison with physicians, hospital personnel and departments.Reports to Wound Institute Director.Is responsible for establishing, Performance Improvement Initiatives, Chart reviews and audits. Coordinates the total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching, and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary departments and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.

· Communicates with courtesy when interacting with internal or external customers—in person or on the telephone. · Demonstrates respect for co-workers and develops positive working relationships with other departments. · Participates and ensures that rounding for outcomes occurs daily. · Promotes and validates AIDET compliance. · Maintains responsibility for Wound Healing Institute on 24/7 basis, unless otherwise approved. · Performs duties in a timely manner and provides updates if delays occur. · Works with the Wound Care Institute Director to facilitate and maintain lines of communication with the various ancillary departments utilized by the department. · Responsible for working with Hyperbaric Technician and Center Director to Identify and assign a Registered Nurse, each day to support the Hyperbaric Technician, to meet patient identified needs during hyperbaric oxygen treatment. · If hyperbaric technicians leave the hyperbaric room/environment, for any reason, they are responsible for obtaining coverage during their absence.Both the requesting and covering employee is responsible for the observation and management of the hyperbaric environment and patient safety. · Assesses the patient’s condition and nursing needs; sets goals; establishes appropriate nursing actions to meet those goals and the physical, psychological, social and rehabilitative needs of the patient, including discharge planning.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
· BLS or ACLS. · BSN or ASN with commitment to enroll in a Bachelor’s program within 6 months of employment. · Nursing field and/or related field. · Current Florida RN License. · Managerial experience strong team building skills. · Two years of experience in a Wound Care Treatment Center. · Three years of experience in clinical specialty. Must have at least two years of experience in working in a leadership role in a Wound Treatment Center.
