Midland, Michigan MyMichigan Medical Center Midland is a 324-bed regional acute care center located on 225 beautiful acres of wooded property in Midland, Michigan. MyMichigan Medical Center Midland provides a range of primary care services as well as outstanding specialty care. The Pardee Cancer Center and Neuroscience Institute are widely recognized for their medical capabilities in the areas of cardio-thoracic, oncology, neurology and neurosurgery, urology and trauma. The medical center offers services in obstetrics, orthopedics, rehabilitation, pediatrics, diabetes and emergency care among others. Ancillary services include PET/CT scanning, daVinci, Gamma Knife, radiation therapy, laboratory, cardiology, pharmacy, cardiac cath lab and on site MRI. The Medical Center also has a three-year Family Practice Residency Program, one of the oldest such programs in the country.

Woodland Hospice House is located on a beautiful wooded parcel of land west of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan that offers a peaceful environment in a homelike setting. The Hospice House has eight suites that focus on privacy, comfort, and individualized care to honor you and your family’s wishes during the last phases of life.

Requirements
Part-time, BC/BE experienced Hospice Medicine or graduating Hospice resident or fellow. The ideal candidate will be highly efficient with excellent clinical and technical skills and experience with a busy inpatient and outpatient service.

Practice Details
There are four medical centers (Clare, Gladwin, Midland and Alma) and eight counties (Clare, Gladwin, Isabella, Midland, Gratiot, parts of Montcalm, Bay and Saginaw) in our service area.
Monday-Friday, 24-28 hours/week
Collaboration with Hospice NP and clinical team
Participate in weekly IDT meetings and other meetings as needed
Admission reviews, DocuSign signatures, education, clinical consultation as needed
Medical Director Oversight of Hospice Program
Home and facility visits required at times
Work space available in Midland and Mt Pleasant, remote work is also an option
Leaders in patient experience with Emergency Department and Ambulatory Service Center scoring in top decile
