Baptist Health South Florida is the region’s largest not-for-profit healthcare organization and the most recognized health system in South Florida is seeking a full-time board certified or board eligible PM&R Physician to join our growing Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation team. The Miami Neuroscience Institute offers patients access to a vast range of medical expertise and innovative technology offering advanced healthcare for musculoskeletal and neurological disorders. There is also a comprehensive spine center providing both non-interventional and interventional spine care with nine locations and growing. We provide a full spectrum of inpatient and outpatient services to patients in our comprehensive centers collocated with other specialties. Baptist Health believes that every patient is special, which is the driving force for Baptist Health Medical Group, a growing network of more than 400 of the region’s most highly regarded employed physicians. We are embarking on an inpatient division with the upcoming building of our state-of-the art 64 bed acute rehabilitation unit in South Miami and have an excellent opportunity for a physiatrist to enhance our consultation service and help steer an inpatient rehab service within the neurosciences. In addition, there will be an opportunity to participate in neuromuscular and outpatient rehabilitation care.
The ideal candidate must be a U.S. licensed physician, board certified or board eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehab, proficiency in Spanish preferred. Candidates must also be able to provide references focusing on quality, excellent patient centered-care, bedside manner and professional demeanor, and collaboration in multidisciplinary team environment.
