Responsibilities

Pediatrix® Medical Group has an opportunity for a Neonatologist to join our fast growing team at Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Beach, Florida.

• This Level-III unit has 14 beds and an average daily census of 8-10 with approximately 2,000 annual deliveries
• Care for babies born earlier than 28 weeks and weighing less than 1,000 grams
• In addition to 24/7 NNP coverage, there is MFM and OB hospitalist on-site support as well
• Halifax Medical Center is involved in VON and Florida Perinatal Quality Collaborative Initiatives
• Join our NICU and newborn nursery team quality and evidence-based neonatal initiatives

• The 24-hour emergency department includes the area's only Level II Trauma Center.
• The Level-III NICU is the only one in the surrounding counties.
