Providence St. Luke's Rehabilitation Medical Center invites a Physiatrist with Spinal Cord Injury Medicine subspecialty board certification, or eligibility with intention to certify, to join a well-established, CARF-accredited rehabilitation teaching hospital and physiatry clinic. This is a full-time position within a collegial group of 12 faculty physiatrists and 18 physiatry residents along with scores of other members of a comprehensive, multidisciplinary rehabilitation team. The physiatrist in this position will 1) lead delivery of world class spinal cord injury medical care in hospital and clinic settings, and 2) serve an essential role in physiatry resident and medical student education. Call is shared among attending physiatrists within the group, and you will be working with resident physicians who are in-house at the hospital 24/7 and who serve as the primary points of contact for hospital staff.
Mixed inpatient/outpatient clinical practice focused on serving patients with spinal cord injuries and associated diagnoses
Teaching physiatry residents and medical students is required
Board-certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation required
Subspecialty board-certification in Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) Medicine, or recent satisfactory completion of a SCI Medicine fellowship with eligibility to take the SCI Medicine certification exam required
Must be prepared to lead the growth of the Spinal Cord Injury Program at St. Luke's
Experience in spasticity management and musculoskeletal/neuromuscular ultrasound is preferred
Research opportunities with Washington State University (WSU), University of Washington, Eastern Washington University, University of Idaho, University of Montana, and Gonzaga University are available
Eligibility for clinical faculty appointment at WSU Elson S Floyd College of Medicine

Compensation is between $126.76 and $172.44 per hour
The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. In addition, providers may have CME benefits available to them.
