The Providence Alaska Medical Center has an opportunity for an experienced Psychologist to join its leadership team as an Associate Program Director of Behavioral Science in Anchorage, Alaska. This is a clinical and administrative position which involves oversight of the Behavioral Health curricula while working closely with the Program Director and Manager to regulate the needs of the program. You will also be a leader and role model for teaching and mentoring behavioral health residents, psychology interns and master's-level students. As such, the ideal candidate will be a faculty provider with a strong attention to detail, strong teaching skills and the ability to manage complex schedules, while also being able to manage multiple projects at any given time. Provide Behavioral Science leadership for Team-Based Care
Oversee Behavioral Science curriculum at Alaska Family Medicine Residency for Family Medicine residents, Psychology interns, and master's-level students
Oversee scheduling of Family Medicine residents, Psychology interns and master's-level students to ensure educational requirements are met
Provide outpatient and inpatient psychological care while supporting both medical and professional staff
Work in collaboration with other Behavioral Health care providers, hospital staff and community providers
Provide direct and indirect supervision of Psychology interns and master's-level students
Develop and implement curriculum for Psychiatry rotations and trans-cultural medicine
At least 1 to 2 years of clinical, leadership or teaching experience required
