Landrum ENT in Ada, Oklahoma seeks an Audiologist to join our team. If you are organized, motivated, a self-starter, value autonomy (with collaboration), with a desire to grow, this is the practice for you! Landrum ENT serves a large geographic area and offers an opportunity to see and treat a wide range of ear pathologies. Job duties include a full range of diagnostic hearing and vestibular testing, pediatric and adult hearing assessments, as well as dispensing premium hearing instruments.
Daily Tasks and Responsibilities:
Establish rapport with and gather history from new and existing patients, conduct audiometric testing and make recommendations for communication strategies and hearing aids.
Provide treatments including cleaning ear canal, fitting hearing aids and other assistive devices, conducting auditory training and instruction in speech and lip-reading, fitting and tuning cochlear plants, counseling patients and families, conducting programs in aural rehabilitation and guiding technical staff.
Fit hearing aids, perform verification measures, and assist with any adjustments, questions or problems.
Counsel patients and family members.
Keep supply inventory by checking stock, anticipating needs, placing and expediting orders and verifying receipt.
Maintain patient records by recording and updating evaluations, changes, progress and treatments.
