Baptist Health Sciences University's brand new School of Osteopathic Medicine seeks its inaugural Assistant Dean of Osteopathic Principles and Practice (OPP) to oversee the clinical, educational, and research missions of the Department of OPP. The successful candidate will get in on the ground floor and place their professional stamp on the Department, promoting the organization's vision throughout the community of Memphis and the state of Tennessee.

Candidate Requirements:

• Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine with Board Certification from the American Osteopathic Board of Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine (AOBNMM) or a Certificate of Special Proficiency in OMM (C-SPOMM)
• 7 years of full-time faculty experience in medical education
• 7 years of progressive and significant educational leadership in an educational program(s) or related area of practice
• Proficiency in applying advanced concepts, principles, and techniques of learning theories, educational practices, and procedures 
• Demonstrated ability to develop, manage, promote, and evaluate academic/educational programs, faculty, and staff
• Strong leadership skills to set the vision and strategic direction of the program
• Unrestricted Tennessee medical license
