As a Physical Therapist Assistant the duties and responsibilities are carried out throughout all clinical and patient care areas involved with the service but may also be called upon to help in the physical therapy clinic, the ICU, telemetry unit, medical unit, surgical unit, and/or CLC. The Physical Therapist Assistant works under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to provide services that promote the prevention, remediation, and rehabilitation of acute and chronic physical dysfunction. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
