Audiologist - Special Clinical Program Cochlear Implants
This position is located in the Audiology/Speech Pathology Service at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System (VAPAHCS). The duties and responsibilities are carried out throughout the Health Care System including all clinical and patient care areas involved with the Service. The incumbent is a staff audiologist with special clinical program responsibilities. Incumbent at this level plans, conducts and coordinates all aspects of diagnostic evaluations in the treatment of cochlear implants (CI). Incumbent manages, directs, and oversees the Cochlear Implant Program. Incumbent provides training and supervision to staff audiologists involved in the cochlear implant program and serves as the subject matter expert for the VAPAHCS cochlear implant program. Incumbent performs Special Clinical Program
