Full Time, Day Shift
You Will Be Responsible For:
Supervisors daily operations of department
Developments and updates monthly staff schedules and posts a minimum of 4 weeks in advance (acute and post-acute facilities)
Recommend staffing levels to meet patient needs and provide adequate coverage
Participates in the hiring process for department. Completes performance evaluations timely and is involved in employee counseling, coaching and termination per policy. Provides orientation for new employees and ensures compliance with department policy and procedure. Maintains high levels of employee engagement and job performance by providing recognition and opportunities for learning. Ability to appropriately handle stress and interact with others
Troubleshoots and addresses questions from staff and others in completing daily activities, redirects or resolves issues timely. Offers suggestions to improve services and viable solutions to resolve problems. Follows up with Manager as appropriate if pattern or procedural change is identified.
Contributes to departmental policy and procedural revisions. Provides on-going training on equipment and procedural changes.
Responsible for the program’s compliance with CMS Conditions of Participation
Participates in development of budget and operates within plan
Contributes to Performance Improvement Plan
Publicly supports direction and vision of the organization and service line.
What You Will Need:
Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree, or Doctorate Degree in Physical, Occupational, or Speech Therapy required.
Three years clinical experience required.
Current Florida State Licensure required.
Must retain a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance, as driving between facilities is a requirement of this position.
American Heart Association BLS required
The Rehab Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day department operations. Additionally, provides therapy to appropriate patients to facilitate their return to prior level of functions as prescribed by physician. Includes the identification, prevention, remediation, and rehabilitation of patients who have impairments, functional limitations, disabilities or changes in physical function and health status resulting from injury, diseases or other causes. Adheres to Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center performance expectations and performs all defined services and other related duties under regulatory standards and in accordance with the Mission, Vision and Values of the organization.
