The Incumbent will function as psychologist for the multidisciplinary chronic pain Clinic At the Washington DC VA Medical Center. Will evaluate, follow, and treat patients with chronic pain as part of inter-/multidisciplinary pain program and CARF accredited pain program. . Will serve as resource for behavioral pain management at the facility and collaborate with stakeholders at the facility, VISN-wide and nationally. The psychologist functions as an active member of an interdependent, interdisciplinary Pain Clinic team consisting of providers within various disciplines including medicine, psychology, pharmacy, physical therapy and physiatry. He/she will perform in the role of full-time Pain Psychologist to provide care to Veterans at the main medical center
