Central Vermont Medical Center is recruiting for a PhD Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary Occupational Medicine team. Primary responsibility is to diagnose and treat injured workers with chronic pain, loss of function and or mental and emotional disorders. This individual will be a part of a multidisciplinary functional restoration program and primarily work with individuals with chronic pain. A background in rehabilitation or health psychology is preferred. This individual will perform an array of psychologically based duties, including psychological testing, and cognitive behavioral therapy. The successful candidate will also provide independent psychological evaluations of injured workers. The ideal candidate will have experience in working with individuals with traumatic brain injury as well as individuals with trauma symptoms.
The successful candidate will work with a highly trained, seasoned, friendly team of professionals including physicians and specialty trained physical and occupations therapists. Training for providing independent psychological evaluations will be provided. Candidates must be licensed (or eligible) as a PhD Psychologist in Vermont.
