Psychologist program manager has broad program management responsibilities which include the operation and management of key clinical, training, or administrative programs. Responsibilities include development and implementation of programs, policies, and procedures; oversight of administrative and programmatic resources; and monitoring of outcomes using a data-driven quality assurance process. This position serves as a Program Manager for the Psychology Section staff in multiple programs and settings. This includes supervision of psychologists and psychology technicians in the Spinal Cord Clinic, Pre-surgical Program, Pain Management Program, Polytrauma/TBI Clinic, Rehabilitation Psychology program, and Neuropsychology Department. Psychology section staff in these programs provide state-of-the-art mental health services for veterans based on the psychiatric rehabilitation recovery model. These services include: 1) a wide range of diagnostic and rehabilitative services for veterans with medical illnesses and TBI 2) collaboration and advocacy for veterans with and their family members 3) education and training of staff, in conjunction with other VA professionals, to promote the transition from maintenance models of treatment to the contemporary recovery model. The Program Manager is expected to provide assigned psychological services for patients; and to be responsible for the clinical and administrative supervision of the psychologists and psychology technicians assigned to these specialized programs. The incumbent is expected to adhere to service standards regarding matters of timeliness, accuracy, and compliance with procedures and quantity of work produced. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm. The selectee may be required to work or travel between any of the locations within Corporate Orlando, including the new Lake Nona campus. The selectee may also be required to work various shifts on a permanent or temporary basis, based on patient care needs.
