Rehabilitation Psychologist

The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks a Rehabilitation Psychologist at the rank of Assistant Professor (non-tenure earning). This position will be on the clinical track and primarily focus on adults who are in or have come from an inpatient rehabilitation setting who have subsequent ongoing outpatient counseling needs. Experience with adjusting to trauma and pain management preferred but not required. In addition, the position will include opportunities for teaching psychology practicum students, medical students, residents and fellows; and participation in clinical research activities. Candidates must have a PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology from an APA/CPA approved program, and be eligible for licensure in Alabama. Preference will be given to applicants with post-doctoral fellowships in neuropsychology or rehabilitation psychology, and ABPP board certified or board eligible in Clinical Neuropsychology or Rehabilitation Psychology.
