Immediate position available for an inpatient Neuropsychologist at Park Terrace Care Center, a sub-acute brain injury rehabilitation facility in Queens, NY. The program is certified by the NYS Department of Health and is part of the NY Traumatic Brain Injury Model Systems (TBIMS) at both Mt. Sinai School of Medicine and Rusk Rehabilitation. The Psychologist will function as part of a highly skilled interdisciplinary care team and provide a range of neuropsychological, psychological and cognitive rehabilitation services to adults with acquired brain injuries.

Candidate must have a Doctorate in Psychology and a NY state license, or be license eligible. Post-doctoral applicants are welcome to apply. Experience in psychological and neuropsychological assessment and report writing is required. A background in brain injury, rehabilitation and/or cognitive rehabilitation is desirable.

About Park Terrace Care Center
Park Terrace Care Center (PTCC) is a 200-bed facility providing 24 hour comprehensive medical, nursing and rehabilitative care to individuals aged 16 and older. The facility provides both short and long term rehabilitation as well as dementia care, with a primary specialization in brain injury rehabilitation including coma recovery. There are two distinct levels of brain injury rehabilitation. The subacute program is certified by the New York State Department of Health as a specialized inpatient rehabilitation program for brain injured individuals with Medicaid coverage. The long term extended program provides continued brain injury rehabilitation services in line with federal and state rules and regulations for long term care facilities.
