Responsible for the administration, interpretation, and evaluation of tests and measurements. Plans and modifies treatment programs. Assists in determining and assessing quality of Physical Rehabilitation techniques. Oversees department personnel, assigning and coordinating tasks, in absence of Director. Works with neonatal through geriatric patients with clinical competency, as applicable. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Associates Degree in Physical or Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university
PREFERRED EDUCATION: Bachelorï¿½s or Masterï¿½s Degree in Physical, Occupational or Speech & Language Pathology or other related Rehab field. HealthCare related field from an accredited college or university
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 3 years as clinician in a comparable facility. 1 year supervisory experience and/or has demonstrated proficiency in those skills needed for supervisory functions.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Possession of current Texas State license
PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Clinical Instructor Certification as applicable.
SLP current clinical competency certificate as applicable.
REQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): BLS-Obtained through approved American Heart Association Training Center or the Military Training Network.
