The unit has 34 beds comprised of Medical, Surgical and Oncology patients. Our teams of RN’s and Patient Care Assistants manage the care and comfort of our patients, both inpatient and outpatient. Our nursing staff is also competent in providing excellent care of Telemetry patients and administration of chemotherapy to Oncology patients.
This position is responsible for coordinating and providing patient care in a safe and effective manner. Additional responsibilities include directing unlicensed employee activity, synthesizing patient information, assessment of patients, planning of care/intervention, and teaching of patients/family, implementation of treatment plan/MD orders, documentation and evaluation. Integration of patient care standards is incorporated into all clinical activities.
Experience: One year acute care experience in Medical Surgical nursing. Electronic Medical Record (EPIC) experience preferred.
Education/License/Certification: CA RN License BLS from AHA required ACLS from AHA preferred Certification in specialty area preferred
