The Lead Ultrasound Technologist, under the supervision of the Department Manager, is responsible for, but not limited to, all of the duties required of the staff sonographer in addition to the general supervision and maintenance of all issues related to Ultrasound.
This position is responsible for the teaching, coordinating and production of high quality fully documented ultrasounds for self and staff in an efficient and productive manner. Other responsibilities include collaboration with the health care team, participation in ongoing feedback regarding performance improvement, and implementation of care to guide patient care
This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of Saddleback Medical Center. Minimum 5 years hospital acute care ultrasound experience. Lead experience preferred.
